Konecranes Ecolifting solutions
HVO100
The latest generation of Konecranes lift trucks can use HVO100, a 100% renewable and fossil-free chemical copy of diesel fuel made mostly of vegetable oil. With almost the same characteristics as regular diesel, it reduces carbon emissions by up to 90%. This is a fast and economical transition that doesn’t require changes to your local infrastructure.
Power Drive
Konecranes Power Drive is a cost-efficient way to start reducing your emissions and fuel expenses. You get a new hydraulic system configuration and customized pump with an optimized driveline and a transmission with a lockup function. With up to 15% less fuel consumption and no difference in performance, this small investment would pay itself back in less than a year.
Flow Drive
Konecranes Flow Drive reduces your fuel consumption by up to 25% with increased active operating time and always full performance. The innovative hydromechanical variable transmission sits in a new, unique engine compartment for a smoother and more dynamic driveline. Specialized driver training will help you and your team get the most out of your everyday operations.

The future of the port industry is electric
The need to decrease greenhouse gas emissions, driven by regulations from the United Nations, European Union, and U.S. environmental laws, has accelerated the worldwide transition to electric transportation over the past decade. In response to growing requirements from port authorities and government entities for ports and terminals to adopt more sustainable technologies, Konecranes pioneered the use of battery-electric drives for large vehicle fleets in active terminal operations. This technology has now been successfully implemented in multiple international container terminals.
Explore more about Konecranes Ecolifting product range, with a deep dive on:
- Konecranes electric forklifts available from 10 to 25 tons
